We all need a little bit of humor!

Our humor opens the door for us to gain perspective on ourselves and our human condition. Humor helps us see how ridiculous we are about the way we think things should be, and it lessens our tendency to trudge through life when we could skip. Humor is our reality check, urging us to take the serious lightly. Humor is our vehicle for insight—with a cherry on top. Humor is the salt of perspective in an otherwise unseasoned life. Imagination and humor lift us out of the mud so that we can see what is possible in the stars.
